He made the suggestion on Saturday in Kano during an interactive session with the Minister of State for Energy, Chief Emmanuel Odusina.
He said at the forum was organized by the Kano-based Delfam Limited that “food and energy are inseparable as major priorities of all nations in the world”.
He commended the President Umaru Yar’Adua’s administration for aiming placing emphasis on oil and gas exploration, as well other extractive industries.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the forum was organized for northern businessmen to explore available investment opportunities in the Nigerian Gas master Plan.
The plan was intended to encourage investments in the sector and that “it would be a good opportunity to revive the dead industries in the north” thus ensuring safety and cleanliness of the gas.

It stated, “Nigerian gas has been identified to be the cleanest and sweetest gas ever, because it was confirmed to be free from sulphate
